"During my tenure as a Video Editor and Graphic Designer at Travelogy (TripZilla Singapore), I occasionally created organic, graphic content when I had a little space between my next video projects. These works are all designed in Canva Pro – the primary software used by the editorial and creative team across Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, and India."
3 THINGS TO DO DURING THE FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX
This carousel post was created during the time Formula 1 was right around the corner. At the time, I did not have backstage access to the event, so I had to think of other ways to create content that would interest people. Since most of the content on social media would be bombarded with F1, I decided to take a little side step and inform users about activities that are directly related to F1. This gives a fresh perspective on F1 content and could open up possibilities of working with new clients/brands that I talked about in the content.

CAFE ROULETTE: 5 INSTAGRAMMABLE CAFES IN SINGAPORE
As TripZilla is a leading digital travel media brand in Southeast Asia, a big part of travelling is food and beverages. Through this content, I decided to go around Singapore to determine 5 aesthetic cafes people can go to for their Instagram feed. The chosen cafes are Queic by Olivia (Michelin Star 2022), Kurasu, Glasshouse, Arabica, and Apartment Coffee. As I have a strong background in F&B and also SCA certifications as a Barista, curating content about food, coffee, cafes, restaurants, and trendy beverages comes relatively easily for me.

A SIMPLE GUIDE TO HIKING MOUNT BATUR IN BALI, INDONESIA
For this carousel post, I decided to combine my passion for photography, mountain hiking, and graphic design. During my overseas trip to Bali, Indonesia, I decided to participate in one of their most sought-after activities — the sunrise hike. This hike was intended to be for a short documentary travel film and a series of high-quality images, but in this graphic content, I used the images that I had captured to create a hiking guide to inform users on what to expect when hiking Mount Batur, the most popular mountain in Bali.

AUTUMN STUDIO GHIBLI EXPERIENCE
An important aspect of deciding when to travel is the season. This carousel post was created during the season of autumn, and when Studio Ghibli was trending globally on social media. I wanted to tie autumn and Studio Ghibli together as content, and instead of only talking or showing things about Studio Ghibli or autumn, I approached a different perspective — going to destinations in Japan that transport people into the world of Ghibli during the autumn. Additionally, I designed the content to feel nostalgic and serene, and almost fantasy-like, keeping the elements of autumn as well.

HIDDEN BARS IN SEOUL
A big part of content creation is research and the desire to seek what is in trend to attract potential social media users. This content was created based on an article written by one of the editorial writers. By creating a graphic social post about a TripZilla article, this allows me to link readers from our social media page to our website, where users can read about it more, creating a sense of content awareness continuity.

F1 SINGAPORE: 5 LOCATIONS TO WATCH FOR FREE
This particular content post was also created during the time of Formula 1 in Singapore. A big part of TripZilla's content creation uses royalty-free images and footage. About 70% of the time, I am unable to source the kind of image I expect. To make up for the lackluster quality of images, I have to combine my graphic elements alongside the images and add certain effects to enhance the overall visual. So even if I am only able to attain a plain and boring image, I can simply make it outstanding through certain design techniques that would work well on social media.
